After the response we received towards the dial design of the C9 P2725 TM-B, a limited edition of just 100 pieces, it immediately became clear we had to produce an open series model that would bring its distinctive aesthetic available to a wider audience. Combining British design cues with a Swiss-made mechanical movement, the C8 P2725 Automatic is a fitting tribute to Britain’s aeronautical history.
Creating the 595 marks another milestone for CW, as we continue to challenge the status quo. This time, we challenged our design and technical teams to produce a mechanical dress watch under the magic specification of 6mm. Rising to the occasion in considerable style, this Malvern’s 5.95mm case is the thinnest mechanical watch Christopher Ward has ever created.
With its links to maritime history, the bronze alloy used in this new Trident’s case is perfect for a dive watch. Not only is it corrosion resistant, but with a patina that will age in its own unique way, each C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 will become its own limited edition of one.
If there’s one watch that sums the Christopher Ward story, it’s this. With influences from the great dive watches of the past, it’s now become an icon in its own right. If you want a watch that looks good in every situation, the C60 Trident Pro 600 is for you. Seriously.
In the Aero 8, Morgan have built a car they consider their most technologically advanced to date. Therefore, it was only right for Christopher Ward to create the C1 Morgan Aero 8 Chronometer in the very same spirit as the automobile that inspired it.
The first car that Henry Morgan designed and produced back in the early 20th century, the 3 Wheeler was reborn in its modern form in 2011. It is therefore fitting that while the C1 Morgan 3 Wheeler Chronometer references the vintage appeal of Morgan’s original invention, the materials and engineering used throughout are as cutting edge as our design and production teams could secure.
Although the Morgan Motor Company produce different versions of the Classic car – from the 4/4 through to the beefier Plus 8 – there is a reassuring constant throughout the range: that long sports car bonnet, flanked on either side by smooth, sweeping wheel arches. That timeless design directly inspires the dress watch stylings of the C1 Morgan Classic Chronometer.
